The Ciurej and Lochman Papers consist of two boxes, spanning the years 1980-2010. This collection is divided into two sections: personal and professional. The personal records include photographs, cards, and some correspondence. The professional records include publications pertaining to art, such as exhibit materials, throughout Ciurej and Lochmans careers. Also in this collection are newspaper and magazine articles, often written about Ciurej and Lochmans art. The collection also contains some professional photographs, a calendar featuring their art, professional correspondence, a catalog of art, and a scrapbook.

Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman have collaborated on photography since 1978. During that time, they used their common experiences as women in the home environment to address feminist themes in their photography. Themes throughout their photography include the domestic landscape, architecture, and the American landscape in an attempt to interpret the human condition.
